Durability

Hello,
I heard that plasma tv's are not durable. They have a tendency to have bad pictures and they don't last very long. Is this true?

Kinda true. You need to be more carefull with storing and turning them off when not in use, but they can be as durable as LCDs. Picture quality on a plasma, price for price, is actually better than an LCD. If you are after a good average setup, get an LCD display. If you want a higher end system but are willing to take a bit of a durability chance, get a plasma.

This does not actually have anything to do with XP video, you wanted this in the TV forums.
