Hi, I'm considering purchase of a multimedia disk-drive. I want it only for my music collection and I would prefer it to display on monitor rather than on tv. This is the problem...most of these devices are designed for output to a tv with a combination of composite/component/scart video. My monitor only has VGA so what sort of converter would I need? Obliged for any help here

I hate to point it out, but HDDs only connect through SATA.

I assumed you just ment a Hard-drive, as you did not state what kind of thing you were talking about. Could you please elaborate, and maybe post a link?
