Some days ago my friend decided to build a computer. He asked me if I could help him finding parts and then also putting it together. Yesterday I finished the job by putting it together and noticed that he needed one more SATA cable. I knew that I had one at home, so I offered him to have my cable so that he could start it. We went to my home, he picked up the cable and went back home to himself. Now this is the problem, he tells me by phone that his computer powers up and after a short amount of time it turns off, by itself. He also tells me that a red light on the graphics card is blinking before the computer turns of. Is there anyone who knows what the problem might be?

His specs:

GPU: Sapphire HD4870 512 mb

CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 3.0 Ghz

RAM: 2 GB xms Corsair PC-6400 800 Mhz

PSU: 550 w Corsair PSU

HDD: Samsung Spinpoint 250 GB 7200 rpm

mobo: MSI P35 NEO-FI

CD/DVD: Some Samsung DVD burner

Thanks on beforehand! :)
