DVI Input issues

Hi,

I have a DV175 monitor.

I recently bought a new video card (ATI AGP 3650) and installed it. My DV175 doesn't recieve a signal when using DVI input.

It recieves a signal using analog (the video card only has DVI output - I use an analog cable from the monitor with an adapter to the computer).

It used to recieve a signal before my video card was replaced - it's broken now so I can't use another card to test the digital input.

I've tested several cables. Everything, of course, is plugged in and the monitor is on.

My old DV172 works with DVI input. (i.e. no problems with my DV172).

Does anyone explanations or (preferably and) solutions? The only explanation I can think of is that the digital input is faulty.
