Hi guys,
I finally decided on graphics cards, right now i am running 2 visiontek 4850s in crossfire. My Catalyst control center says they are running at 72 degrees C and this is when im not playing any games. And this is when I am not running any games. I didnt hear that these cards run hot but i am not sure... Anyone know if this is dangerous? or how to cool? Need some help, thanks.

That temp is normal. You can edit the fan speeds in the CCC profile. The cards run around 80C idle temps with the normal fan settings.

Yeah that's normal, unfortunately. You can try getting a case with better airflow or just try putting in better case fans. Just make sure to pay attention to decibel levels if you don't want your case to sound like a jet taking off.

thanks guys, i am going to cut into my plexiglass on the case and put a fan set on exhaust right inbetween the cards. also i will stick a slot fan right in between them.
Can I play games right now or is it unsafe to run?
