Hello, I just found an old creative audigy from another build and was wondering if it was better then my ALC888 onboard audio that I currently have now. Is it worth putting into my gaming pc?

Thanks.

Onboard is better. Newer onboard hd audio, such as alc888, offers better sound quality than old Creative cards. Not that you can't hear a difference anyway. Creative driver support is particularly bad. They have been known to withdraw driver support for products merely weeks old. Chances are, you'll have driver problems.
