Hey everyone, I need some advice....... I plan on building a strictly gaming pc @ some point in the next coming months or sooner with a low low budget.....around 400-500 dollars. I have a sound card and HD already and a 430 earthwatts PSU (willing to change this out if need be), however, need your advice on everything else.

I have no preference on AMD or intel or nvidia or ATI, but would appreciate an explanation for each.

Thanks for all your help!!!!

Case - $50 - Centurion 534
Mobo - $60 - Gigabyte has a good micro atx on newegg.
RAM - $40 - G.Skill 2 x 1 GB ddr2 800
CPU - $70 - E2160/80 (Oc's on stock cooling between 2.5 and 3.0 depending on your room temp.
DVD - $25 - Lite-On has a dvd r/w for this price on newegg.

This puts your total at about $250.
Add 180 to this for the HD4850 and you're at $430.

Yes your PSU will handle this set up with no problems.

If you need monitor keyboard and mouse... you can get
keyboard and mouse combo for $21.99 or so on newegg.

So for $450 you can have the full computer setup, providing you get your monitor somewhere else.

Hope this helps.
