Hey guys, I'm sort of new to all this EPP stuff. My previous comp. had an Abit nf7-s and you could do anything you wanted with it. Now, I have a Gigaybyte GA-M57SLI-S4 and I can not find anyway to change my memory timings; I can only overclock my cpu and fsb. I just bought 4gbs of Corsair xms2 memory pc2-6400 and the advertised timings are 4-4-4-12 at 400mhz. However, I'm only geting 5-5-5-18 at 400mhz (both at the advertised 2.1v as well). I've done some reading on the forum and I wanted to clear things up. The only way to be able to run 4-4-4-12 is if my m/b is compatible with the epp profile? Also, is there anything I can do to be able to change the timings somehow? Thanks for your help guys I really appreciate it.

I'm running winXP Pro 32bit with an AMD 5600+ X2 and a GA-M57SLI-S4

Hard to believe that an enthusiast board like a NForce 570SLi does not have even generic memory timings in the BIOS.

The advanced key for Gigabyte is " Alt + F1"
