I looking for a new mobo. Preferably X48 but X38 will work too. I need one that is good with crossfire, DDR2, and has the best performance but it needs to be really cheap. Great sound would be a bonus but isn't a big thing. Any recommendations?

Hmm..maybe ECS NF650iSLIT-A (V1.0) LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 650i SLI ATX Intel Motherboard

$50 at NewEgg (after $15 mail in rebate) That cheap enough?

Did you read http://www.tomshardware.com/review [...] 2095.html? Tom's tested Crossfire with 2 x 4870. The P45 seems to be almost as fast as the X48. I was surprised to see that the 975X (PCIe 1.1) isn't far behind.
