Hi, I'm upgrading hardware (on a restrictive budget) to mobo „Gigabyte M57SLI-S4“ and currently looking at dual core Athlon. I'm not big into gaming but need a mid-quality graphic card for video/editing/encoding/multimedia. I'd prefer choice of vga/hd/svideo outputs. Could anybody make some recommendations please?

As the 4670 doesn't have VGA (my monitor only has VGA) are we just talking dvi-vga adapter? Obliged.

To get a native vga port you'll have to look at older cards. New ones only have dvi out. An adapter should work fine. There are some cases of display corruption, but those are extremely rare.

There's usually an adapter that comes with the card.

No problem. I actually have your issue. I've got the same board, but kind of liking the idea of maybe a pair of 4670's later. Who knows....
