Which will be best in terms of cooling performance under normal or maybe very minor overclocking conditions:

In Corsair i will get, 5-5-5-18 while Gskill has 5-5-5-15 — Does it make any real world gaming difference

Also, any idea which chips are been used in these two rams ?

DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 @ only 1.8-1.9v!! Heard it OC to 850 or better with 2.0v and 5-5-5-15.

Any replies with respect to my question ?

Although the G.Skill Shadow linked looks interesting too, I know this Mushkin will OC to DDR2-960 on 1.8V: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6820146731

...but, to answer the specific question, no I don't think there will be a visible difference between 5-5-5-15 and 5-5-5-18.

Shadow703793 is correct. Of the two taht you linked, the G.Skill is as good or better. On the other hand, the G.SKILL PI Black modules definitely are better (which you probably didn't want to know).

You'll have to contact the manufacturers to know what chips they use as that sometimes changes during production.

Well where i live only these two particular modules mentioned above by me, are available.... so no point in looking for any other brands or models..

So out of these two i have to select the best.... So what you guyz think will perform better in running cool.

Since you linked newegg.com, I assumed you were in North America.

Go with the one that's the least expensive. I doubt one will be much cooler than the other if running at stock voltage.

have you considered some kingston KHX6400D2LLK2/4GR. It runs at 4-4-4-12. The 1st number is the important number.
