Hey lol,

Finally bought a few of my computer parts today.

Been stuck with my 8600GT for AGES now, and witha dodgy fan on it thought I may as well cash on up.

Gotta love the difference :D Bought a new case (Antec 1200) and PSU (Zalmin 850 watt Double HP).

Haven't really been able to test it out, cause I bought new hard drives so been busy reformatting and reinstalling stuff. Got the annoying load bug that comes with 8.8 drivers and i have nothing 3d installed atm to get rid of it lol! But seems all sweet, can't wait to try it more :D

EDIT: Oh btw had alot of fun installing it rofl. First time i forgot that it requires 2 backslot bays and only unscrewed 1. So i went to unclip it from the PCI express port on my mboard and just because the graphics card is so big and fat I couldn't wedge my finger under properly, and what I thought was moving was a mother board capicator :$! All good though, finally got it unplugged. Time for ROUND 2! I go to screw it into the bay and the screw falls off and falls inbetween the graphics board and the heatsink. A bloody tiny ass hole to do it and I nailed it. Had a screw loose running under the heatsink and you think I could get it out? Eventually did after starting to panic lol. Third time lucky though thank god, couldn't imagine what could happen if i didn't get lucky lol!

PS: Antec 1200 harddrive cage's had me stumped for about an hour, till i realised there was screws on the back rofl, LONG DAY

lucky dude, wish I am brave enough to spend 500 on a gpu. $150 for my 8800GT already got me shaken! (My past GPU's were all under $100 when I bought them: ti4200, 9800 pro aiw, x800 aiw, 7900GS, x1900 aiw)

If only I'd known the 4xxx series was coming out in mid 2008. I spent $450 for my overclocked 3870x2 in February, and now it's equaled by a just under $200 4850.

Can't wait for my triple core 8750 to arrive from Newegg, so maybe I'll get some headroom with this card. I was definitely CPU limited with an X2 4600+.

I love the Antec Nine Hundred. The hard drive cages are great for airflow.
