Samsung S2 250 Portable hard drive

I have set up this hard drive to back up my data and it keeps failing stating that Backup data has been changed in an abnormal way. It states " We recommend perforning an Integrity Check. Check now?" I perform the integrity check, resume the back up and the same thing keeps happening. Can someone please advise me. Thanks. I am not very computer literate, so please, no technical language. Thanks.
