Hello.
I have an Asus P5V-VM DH mobo that has only 1 internal SATA2 connection... and one external eSATA connector. On the manual (http://office.manualsonline.com/manuals/mfg/asus/p5vd2m...) it says that it supports a RAID 0 (by the above mentioned 2 SATAs). Can I use two identical HDDs for such a "one-SATA-cable-inside-abd-one-via-eSATA" RAID configuration?

Sure. You'd have to buy something that lets you use a eSATA plug though, probably a enclosure or something of that nature.

They don't need to be exactly the same. Just the same size/speed is preferable. (it would just go to lowest.)

10-4. muchas gracias.

...and I guess a hybrid SATA2-eSATA cable would simplify the "trick".
