Hi all,
Replaced my ageing 8600GT for this card but although i love the power i am having problems with HDMI and 60hz in some normal monitor style resolutions.
When i had the 8600gt i could choose any resolution and have 60hz, on the 4870 i can only choose the following;
Before i would use resolutions like 1360x768 and 1440-990 with 60hz but now i can only use these resolutions with 50hz, I have tried to force 60hz but it wont do it.
What is strange is that when i click anything higher than 1280-720 my display says 1080p anyway, so i am not sure than my old nvidia card didnt just scale the screen from 1920-1080 to whatever i chose.
Anyone got any ideas ?
I could swap my ATI 4870 for a nvidia 260 but the ATI seems to be the better card.
