Need Help, My MB is Asus P5B-VMSE and I bought a pair of 1GB DDR2 800, but my MB supports 667 Bus and my processor is Pentium D which is 800 Bus. The PC is kinda unstable due to the memory, I was wondering if i can underclock the RAM to 667, although I installed the RAM in Dual Channels. Will this solve the stability issue or am I taking a bigger risk? please help me on this one.

Your MB supports PC26400 800MHz RAM. But, the MB has limited BIOS voltage regulation to power the system RAM you choose to install. I owned the board and returned it. That may be the cause for your system instability, not enough voltage for RAM that requires 2.1v when the board's voltage regulators only supply 1.9v. If the RAM you have is unstable, I would try to find some DIMMs that require 1.9v or less.
