Dows anyone here use 8GB (2 x 4GB) memory kits for a possible 16GB memory in a system - would most motherboards support such kits...

nope, most motherboards wouldn't support those kinda kits.. maybe server motherboards, but thats all i can really think of..

I just ordered an IntelĀ® DP45SG Extreme Series motherboard which supports up to 16GM of DDR3 RAM. I have yet to see any memory kits but I'm still looking.
