Overclocking HD 4890 in crossfire

Also would AMD overdrive be a more suitable utility to run it in instead of Rivatuner?

With the experience i found on my 3870's in crossfire, the clock speeds in CCC are going all your need... The reason i say this is beacause having the cards in crossifre limits thier overclock ability.

Yes you can use Rivatuner, but you have to go into 'Lower Level' for each 'Graphics Adapter' if memory serves me right. However, there is alot of info here all about overclocking 4890's in crossfire .

In those games they aren't nearly as intensive as crysis so they don't generate as much heat but crysis starts to burn up the video cards, so they crash

kinda the same situation with goodlockin, except bioshock is the only game that causes me 4890 to crash. It can handle crysis, world in conflict, fallout 3, BIA: HH, any source game etc at 950/1100, but bioshock always crashes within 15min of play. I just avoid playing it now, but should I be worried. The temps are 60c idle 79c load.
