I read that the i920 won't support DDR3 speeds above 1066 MHZ? Is this true? I"m confused on what's the best memory to get for it now.

That's untrue, the only thing to go by is the memory must have 1.65 voltage or lower. Any speed will do as long as it's DDR3 and 1.65 or less voltage.
