I have a ga-965gm-s2, and the fan alarm on the mobo is faulty. my fans aren't even connected to through the mobo anymore, yet the alarm goes off at random times, for random intervals, and usually ends up staying on for a long time. there is nothing wrong with the system (it's been doing it for months) and i have disabled the fan warning in the bios, as well as the cpu fan warning. i didn't see anything else about alarms, but at this point i just want to remove it, does anyone know where i can locate it on this board and how i would go about removing it without damaging anything else?
well it's going off right now so i'm trying to locate it, but i have a very small case so it's hard to navigate through it, how would i findo ut if its an onboard peizo speaker, and if i do have it, where would i find it on the mobo?
