im only using the integrated video of this mobo, and i have 2gb of ram,
my mouse pointer jumps over when i initiate a program, does this have to do with that channel?

It means, dual channel memory offers little performance advantage for most application types. Your mouse behavior is certainly not related to single or dual channel memory.
