having trouble setup remote desktop from my laptop running xp pro sp3
to eq660 modem and then through wrt54g2 linksys router to pc running xp pro which on a lan

will not connect i think something in route but wanted some to walk through to double check what i have done.

Check WAN IPs with http://www.whatismyip.com Try running the ping command to see if IP is responding. Check to see if remote desktop ports are forwarded by both routers. Then check to see if remote desktop ports are blocked by ISP.
