Ok first off i cant go over 1k pretty much, and i was planning on using my windows xp disk and not buying vista unless any1 highly recommends it because that would just be an extra $100. Just wana make sure everything i list will work with each other, and is smart for the prices.

Comments:

- Save $20 by going with the E8400 you won't notice the difference and you could safely overclock it up to E8500 speeds without even needing a better cooler.

- Good choice on RAM. a 32bit edition of Windows isn't going to give you access to all 4Gb (you'll get 3.5) but at $100 for Vista 64bit you could probably survive. Although Vista will also give access to DX10 for the prettiest gaming - depends if you have $100 to spend.

- If you are going to game at the high end you should really be after a 4870 if you could stretch the budget.

It could be advisable to try and find the extra for a 4870, even if you have to wait a month for the system. Otherwise (like me) you'll want to change it in 6 months time!
