Hi guys, building a new rig and wondering what you think and if you have any recommendations.
Speakers: Logitech Z-5500D THX Digital Speaker System
PSU: CoolerMaster UCP 1100W
Hard Drive: Western Digital Caviar 640GB WD6400AAKS
RAM: OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 Reaper HPC 2x2GB
MOBO: XFX 780i Motherboard N780-ISH9
Mousepad: SteelSeries Experience I-2 Pink (not getting pink)
Monitor:Samsung 2493HM 24in Widescreen LCD Monitor
CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q9550
OS: 64-bit MS Windows Vista Home Premium 1-Pack OEM DVD
Case: Thermaltake Armor+ LCS Black VH600LBWS
Graphics: XFX GeForce 9800GX2 680Mhz XXX Edition
Optical: LG GGC-H20L Blu-Ray & HD DVD Combo Drive
Mouse: Logitech G9 Laser Mouse

I've already got a G15 keyboard so I'll use that.

might change gpu to HIS 4870x2 and MOBO to Gigabyte GA-X48T-DQ6 Motherboard

Yes far better choices!

Next up, get some low latency low voltage 800Mhz RAM, such as:

Then get a PSU that is well reviewed by a quality PSU reviewer such as
http://www.jonnyguru.com/

The Corsair 1000W would be one good option.

Get the 4870x2 and the x48 they are much more stable and faster. also plus one on the corsair 1000watt
