i posted a thread not to long ago about my kit but i made some changes and i want some opinions on it.
here it is:
block: Swiftech Apogee XT Extreme Performance CPU Waterblock
res: Swiftech MCRES-MICRO Rev2 Reservoir
*pump: Swiftech MCP655 Water Pump
rad: Swiftech MCR220-QP Dual 120mm Radiator Black
(the cost of those is about $225, i think thats a good deal)
some Bitspower Ultimate G 1/4 Thread 3/8" ID x 5/8" OD Compression Fittings.
4 yate loon medium fans
primoflex blue tubing (3/8 ID) i hope it matches the blue in my antec 1200
distilled water
Petras PHN Nuke
what do you guys think, i might have forgotten to had something...
Well done. Looks like you'v done your home work. Mind listing what CPU you are trying to cool? OC?
Depending on what CPU, esp. if it's an i7 I recommend getting a 320 rad.
Optional:
Fan controller for the rad/case fans?
Thanks! I have been trying to learn as much info on water cooling as I possibly can, so far so good. I have a i7 920, going to push the OC as much as I can.
If my budget allows for it I will probably get a fan controller, and a 320 rad
If your going to push the overclocks you'll need a 120x3, especially if your room temps are warm in the summer. Unless you put screaming fans on the rad. You didn't buy anything near screaming loud high pressure/CFM fans. You got great fans for a 120x3 rad with 3 fans on medium.
The parts look great. I've been doing some research into watercooling as well. What case do you have and are you going all Internal? I don't think I have enough room for internal with 2 huge GPUs taking up so much space.

my case is the antec 1200, i have 2 big gpus as well ( x2 5850's), i will probably mount the rad outside the case behind the 2 fans in the back of the case, or i can (i am willing to mod my case) mount the 320 rad where the 3 intake fans are
