Does a micro ATX mb use the same case mounts as a standard ATX mb (for those mounts the micro covers)? I have some ATX cases and am considering building a system with a micro ATX mb and use one of my existing cases.

Also, does Dell use standard mb mount spacing? I can get my hands on a micro case from Dell, but don't know if they use standard mounts, or psu connecters for that matter.

Any information along these lines is appreciated.

Generally speaking the motherboard tray in an ATX case will have mounting holes for micro ATX, standard ATX, and sometimes the large extended ATX motherboards.

I built pc's for friends, neighbors, and girlfriends using mid-tower atx cases and micro ATX motherboards. No problem whatsoever.

I don't know about Dell pc's. Hopefully someone else can answer your question.
