I want to buy a new hdd and i'm not sure wich one to buy

I think because its great cache the wd is the most obvious but i don't know if it is really that good

can anybody give me some advice

I would go with Samsung or Seagate. Green HDD is good for NAS use, but does not perform like the others. Check these charts:

Tell us more about the use of the hard drive.

For large files/backups/archives: choose 5400rpm "green" drives
For system drive/OS drive/scratch drive: choose high rpm drives or SSD
