I have read that the PC Power & Cooling S61EPS is a little longer than most PSUs, so does anyone know if that would work ok in the antec 300 case? Also, how is the 24pin vs 20+4pin setup going to affect my options for buying a mobo? 24pin is newer, but does that correspond to mobos that support core2 duo, core2 quad, both, or something else? There were alot of questions in there, so thanks for your patience in reading this.

The one thing I tell for sure, is that it is 7" long. An 1" longer than my old Antec 350 SmartPower, which came out of my Antec SLK1650B(still looks like brand new).PS is on top in this case not on the bottom like the 300. The 610 has the quietest fan on my system, 3 Antec fans 1x120mm, 2x80mm all turning 1100 rpms and a Zelman 9700 turning
1500 rpms.
There are over 300 reviews on the Silencer at NewEgg.Seen alot of them running on an Intel platform.
Took a look at a dozen or so Intel boards all had 24 atx pin connectors.
I run AMD so somebody running Intel would be more qualified to questionson that platform.
