Hi there, the users of the Gigabyte EP45-UD3R.

Are you fine with this mobo. Is it useful for Crossfire?
I want you know. Is this mobo going well with OCZ Reaper or Platinium ?
Thanks anyway.

you need to get the EP45-UD3P for crossfire, but remember it is a 16x/8x config. The EP45-UD3R is fantastic for single card configs. After talking to a giga-byte CSA years ago, I would not use OCZ with a giga-byte MB. Although, here is their supported memory page for the EP45-UD3R and the EP45-UD3P

I have the UD3P and OCZ Reaper 1066 and it works great. You have to set the memory voltage to 2.2v in bios to get it to run at 5-5-5-15 but after that its good to go.

I haven't tried crossfire, but the board has an insane amount of options to change and runs super cool.

Yes.. I heard the voltage issue. But is fixible. I like Gigabyte. But which mobo I don't know. I'm a game mad person. So I want to buy a good PC for gaming. I think it will be good EP45-UD3R plus HD4850/HD4870.

Thanks anyway.
