:hello: Hello Guys, im kinda having a hard time finding some detailed articles on how
i can properly overclock my Intel i7 860 lynfield processor. It's jacked on an
ASUS P7P55D P55 Mobo with 4 gig G.Skill Ripjaws (2GB x 2) dual channel
DDR 3 Ram @ 8-8-8-21.

I've looked on some forums but i cant seem to find some detailed info on how
to do it on the Asus mobo and Ram that i have. I think im not the only one who
are looking for these infos, I think a lot of peeps do. Im kinda looking for the same
article like this with screenshots for easy-to-follow steps.

http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/ [...] king-guide

Also, i would like to know how far i can overclock my i7 lynfield 860 processor
on its stock voltage and my G.Skill Ram on this Asus Mobo?

- Any help regarding this will be so highly appreciated. Thanks in advance
and God bless you all. :)

My guide should be good for overclocking the p55 chipset aswell.

RAm wont really affect an i7/i5 overclock aslong as you have 1600+.

You should be able to hit 4.0-4.5ghz on air. But beyond that you will need to start playing with pci-e freq.
