The memories. they are disturbing....

sitting at my compaq 5600i, 1999. The half life 1 had friends over at any given time. the rage lt pro was the first mobile designed card to be fit in an ago ever...coupled with the first dvd player ever...playing what would turn out to be the most subscribed rpg ever...

I was begging for the new p3, and a bigger ati card. Ready to throw 1750 bucks right out the windows 98....and I did have abit of a mental breaking phenomona to get over at the most rapid changes ever.

This flashback brought to you by a true enthusiast.

Anyhoo, I just recently inherited a brick of a box, called a pavilion 6735 on a 100 watt psu, it has never run...from day one...unbelievable.

I parked the board in a much bigger case, gave it 300w and a badly needed bios update, and I am here with it, a celeron 633mhz, with 256mb 73 (?!) mhz ram....and I just bought it a rage 128 GL. A dream come true. :sol:

and then I found p4 psus to plug in....update this brick to at least a core2 matx.
