SATA 2 , 3 ???

I just bought a SATA II OCZ Vertex SSD harddrive. I have a motherboard that supports 6GB/s SATA III ?. I was wondering if I should plug my SSD into the 6GB/s spot which might increase performance? or stick with the 3 GB/s SATA II ports that the drive says it is?

It won't make the slightest bit of difference.

CJL is right - both the drive itself AND the motherboard port must BOTH support SATA 3 in order to get SATA 3 speeds.
