Hello,
I have a need to store digitized video files onto a single drive from multiple video cards, each having a sata controller on it. So rather than using one SATA host controller attached to multiple drives, the reverse is required -- multiple host controllers connected to one drive or a drive array. How can I do this?

I'm not at all clear on how a video card would have a SATA controller on it Video cards are usually plugged into the motherboard PCIe bus, and the SATA ports are other embedded devices on the motherboard.

Are you talking about completely separate computer systems, each with their own video card, which have to access a single external disk drive? If so, file shares or a NAS (Network Attached Storage) is probably the solution you're looking for.

Perhaps you could start over with your question OP?
