Quick question(p45 bios)

First time builder looking for an answer to a quick question...

Looked around for a while for info on the bios that is on the ASUS P5Q Pro LGA 775 Intel P45 ATX Intel Motherboard, and if it would be out of the box ready to work along with a Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 Yorkfield 2.83GHz 12MB L2 Cache LGA 775 95W Quad-Core Processor, or if i would have to update the bios for them to work together. Also i apologize if this would be more suited for the processors section then it would be here in the asus motherboard section.

It should work fine. That's a new enough board that you shouldn't have any issues.

Yes, the board is 45nm chip ready. All P45 boards are (at least they are suposted to be).
