Kpilot drops a bunch of addresses from my book--why?

Archived from groups: alt.os.linux.suse,comp.sys.palmtops (More info?)

I am running SuSE 9.2. I installed kpilot and hotsynced my Clie, and it
seemed to be happy with the outcome. But when I looked at the address
book in kpilot, there were addresses missing! Not a whole category, but
some from each. Why would it drop some addresses and not others?
