Did I get the wrong memory?

I'm just wondering if I got the wrong memory. I'm really stressed about this so if someone could help me out that would be great.


I just got a i7 920 processor, and I got the EVGA motherboard to go with it.

I got this one because it was 1.5-1.6 V, as I'm afraid I'll fry the processor. My friend also said I didn't need any better than this, and even said I only needed 1333,but I went 1600 anyways. He didn't really explain to my why though. If I could get some help that would be great. Should I have purchased the

I"m just really confused. I don't plan to OC, maybe I will one day when I understand everything a lot better, but for now no. Will my computer be stable with this memory, and will I ever be able to OC?
