1) If u can get 64-bit vista to use all of that 4 gigs

2) Get rid of that psu. Rosewill has a tendency of being bad and generally when a Psu goes it will take other parts with it. Do urself a favor and switch it for a quality Corsair, VX550 is great and cheap, or the 520HX if u want modular

i know it is more but if you can afford $10 more then get the wd 640gb. that would get you 140 more gb for only $10 and is the best price per gb drive you can get.

+1 on 64bit vista for sure.

if you are looking to save a little money you could on your case. let me know if you want suggestions.

don't know your usage for the computer or your plans to overclock but those two factors would determine if q6600 (quad) or E8400 (dual) would be better for you. both are good and both have positive reasons to get them. comes down to what you use the computer for and if overclocking and how much.
