3850 vs 4850

Was going to order a 4850 to finish off the new comp but ran into some problem so I'll be just trying to order a 3850 or something of that sort is it that much sub par to the 4850? trying get a vid card for under 100 and in a few months grab a 4850

There is a HUGE difference between a 3850 and a 4850. Just check out the charts here or the review dagger posted. I hate the tiger direct website but you can purchase this 4850 there

Or just look for one of the other 4850 cards they have.

There's a big difference in performance. IMO it's worth the extra money for the 4850.
