I'm planning on upgrading to either one of these two monitors but don't have any expereince with either company. Which one is the better buy? What I really like about the two is the high resolution for a 19" monitor.

The viewsonic one is slightly more expensive, does have 2mn response time (if actually true) and a high DC contrast ratio but some reviews say the refresh rate is only 60hz. Not sure if that is due to a few noobs not knowing how to change that or actually true. The acer is less expensive, and I think the contrast ration is less. I'll be honest I don't know the difference between the two types used in the specs section.

Does anyone have any experience with either company or more specially either monitor? I plan on parring it with a HD 4850 and want the best bang for my buck ie.. image quality. Am I just splitting hairs or is one really better than the other?

whats wrong with 60hz?

i would go with the one with the 2ms, although you can't really tell the diff between 2ms and 5ms

and such a large resolution on a tiny monitor... i doubt you'll need AA lol

Whenever I've used 60hz the screen has a slight blur to it, 72 or 75 always looks crisper.
