Okay, so techincally not overclocking here, but I figure this is the forum to ask. I have this heatsinkARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro Rev.2 92mm Fluid Dynamic CPU Cooler and i broke a tiny piece of the pin off. I was wondering if there was was a possibility I could just buy a replacement pin. Yeah yeah, I know. I could just buy a brand new one, but I am a cheapskate. Where could I buy a pin?

Ask at The manufacturer? Use a screw as Shadow mentioned.

You can't buy that kind of pins. HOWEVER, you can use some #40(IIRC) or any screw smaller than the holes on the board to hold it down in place. You may need springs.

Yeah actually I realized it was still on warranty, so I contacted the manufacturer. They basically said that they would send me the pins, so its on its way free of charge. Yay!

I will keep the screw idea in mind though

p.s. I may have misunderstood: what "pins" are you referring to?
I'm looking at the manufacturer's website for that HSF, and
I don't see enough details in the photos there.

Yes, those look like proprietary fasteners.
