Hello everyone, I have been a long time reader and lurker of tom's and the forums for a long time, just recently decided to post to ask a question about my new build. Recently I built a new Core i7 build like many out there, i upgraded from a AMD 64x2 5200 so the performance in games and overall is incredible, but for my main question, I have been wondering how my overall overclock and and temps compare to the norm.

My settings:
CPU Voltage: 1.25
BCLK: 181
Multi: 21
DRAM: 1.64
QPI: 1.35

Overall it comes out to a 3.8 Ghz speed and my memory is running at 6-8-6-18-1N for timings.

my temps according to real-temp are 34 idle/62 load and im using a swiftech watercooling loop.

Thanks I hope I posted everything needed for a good answer, if not inform me of info needed and it will be provided.

Looks good, especially considering what looks like a stock CPU voltage.

How is your multiplier a 21? Or is this the speed at turbo mode?

The asus p6t is able to run at 21 for a multiplier with the newest bios.

My voltage isn't quite stock, stock would be 1.225 i believe, but I have recently lowered my QPI to 1.325 from 1.35 and also upgraded my radiator to a triple rad from a dual, and my idle and load temps are now 32c/58c and should drop a few degrees more after my as5 cures, since I just re-applied it. All in all I believe I have my system running pretty cool.

tcase: 40c
tjunction: 32c/58 idle/load

Numbers looks very good. I was wondering which stepping are you using?

It's a D0 stepping 920. Ive been fiddling with my settings more lately and dropped my cpu/memory ratio to 2:8 from 2:10, since I have been reading that the memory speed is fairly insignificant to the cpu and gpu for a benching stand point, I am hoping this allows me to achieve higher overclocks, with less voltage since I am not pushing my memory as hard as I was prior with a 2:10 ratio and 3.8 ghz my memory was running at ddr3 1814, with timings of 6-8-6-18-1n which is pretty amazing if you think about it.

Yes I do it's 3910A638, by the way overshocked one of your posts was what made me drop my cpu/memory ratio to 2:8.
