I think it may have been caused by installing .net framework but I am not sure.
Just yesterday when windows would start up, it would go straight to the desktop but it has changed to where a grey box would show up stating "loading preferences" or "windows is loading"
When clicking shutdown in the start menu, before it was a box with 3 icons "shut down, restart, sleep" but now it has changed to a scroll menu.
Does anybody know the cause of this and what I can do to fix this? Please help. Thank you.
