Buy double or faster?

I'm building a new rig and I thought of something... would I be better off buying 8GB of 800Mhz RAM or 4GB of 1066Mhz RAM?
Logic would dictate that 8GB would be, well, twice as good. Then I got to thinking about "upgrading" later and having to match my RAM - if I had 8 (board supports up to 16) that's find and dandy but it would be 800.
OR, if I only (sob) had 4, when prices come down more, I could easily upgrade then with the 1066.
I'm leaning toward the 4GB of 1066, heck, I was only going to get 4GB in the first place and be happy about it.

If you don't have 64bit OS, then pick the 4gig 1066mhz. Heck take the 4gig regardless, because of the upgrade path you mention.
