Alright, so I just got a new XFX 750i Mobo. I previously had a Asus P5K-Deluxe. I moved everything from my old system onto this new mobo, but have a few problems.

1. A red LED light near the 'Front Panel Header' connections is on steadily and the number next to it is 'LED1 R474'. I've looked around and haven't found anything. I'm not expecting this to be a big problem, just maybe that it's expecting something else to be connected when I only have three things; Power Switch, Reset Swtich and HDD Activity LED.

2. No display on my monitor. I'm using a 8600GT with DVI, worked perfectly on my other computer but for some reason not now. The MOBO is running fine otherwise... CPU working right, fans working right, no other red LED's or no sounds. It's starting up like it should, just the GPU isn't outputting anything. I've tried this 8600GT as well as my 9800GX2 and neither show anything no matter what cables I use.

My other specs are:

Q6600 2.4GHz
4GB RAM (only have 2GB in now)
1000W Antec Quattro
500GB SATA HDD

Does anyone know what the trouble could be?

EDIT: I just got done reconnecting EVERYTHING and making sure everything was seated correctly, primarily the GPU. Everything was plugged in fine and still no changes.

EDIT #2: I just got done taking out the new MOBO with EVERYTHING unplugged and the small battery out. I replaced the GPU, CPU, HDD & RAM with the old card and the display popped right up, so it can't be any of those components. Could this just be that the MOBO is bad?

I had the same type board but the i780 and had the same issue. When we were done trying to fix what we thought was other hardware we found out it was a socket issue with the board. Calling xfx I found out they will not fix most any problem with there boards. They say take it back to the store. The store will tell you to call them....ect
To make a long story short change out the board as fast as you can if you can. There support is getting harder and harder to use........

I have the 750i also, and am also dealing with this LED, but I checked the pins and they are all fine. My rig is a combination of some old parts, with a good deal of new parts. I'll list it here:

XFX nForce 750i
Pentium 4 3.0 ghz (clearly old)
Ultra LS600 - 600 Watt PSU
Western Digital 150gb SATA HD (old)
Philips CD/DVD RW drive (old)
2 GB Ram Stick
GForce 6800? Graphcs Card (old)

I first tried a PowerUp! mid-tower case with 450 watt power supply. Got this LED, and then the PSU blew up. Hooray for fire hazards. I sent back that unit, and received another one that didn't work. Sent that one back, and got the Ultra. Everything seemed to be running fine, except for incredibly long install times and tons of bugs on trying to get Windows installed (which never happened). At one point, got the install to 86% and then theer was a power outage. Awesome. In the morning, the computer continued to boot, but when I came back to try it later ( I had had to go to work), I got this LED R474 Red again. I unplugged everything, and still only that LED. This is leading me to believe that this board either needs a big PSU, or for some reason is eating them. I understand a power outage can hurt PCs, but the fact that it booted up, and then didn't later confuses me.

So basically, can anyone tell me what's happening, or at least what that stupid LED means, since XFX won't post their meaning? Thanks
