According to this site: http://www.cpubenchmark.net/

It says that the C2D E7200 is better than the AMD X2 6400+. The E7300 is beating it out with a score of 1608 over 1278. Is this accurate? I was thinking of buying either an E7200 or an X2 5200+, but was I that far off with the comparison? Somebody please let me know how reliable these numbers are.

E7200 and E7300 are really good budget chips. They overclock extremely well, they only drawback is the low L2.

So, they may really be that far above every AMD dual core processor? Are you saying that these are reliable charts?

I would take the e7200 over anything AMD offers at the moment. That may change Q1 2009 but nobody really knows if anything changes then. All speculation.

The e7200 and e7300 are way better then the x2 5200+

they also will overclock 3.8-4.0 with the right ram and mobo.

The x2 5200+ wont get no where near that speed.

On stock speeds, can the E7200 beat the AMD X2 6400+?
