I am in the process of building a new system and listed below are the specs so far. I am wondering if all of these are compatible and if you have any suggestions. I am not huge gamer but i want to be able to game if i find a game i like. I am also a big fan of multi tasking and i want a real fast machine. Also i listed the price of each component if you think something is a bit pricey let me know
Thanks

looks like a good build, but i'm not sure a quad core will be of much use to you. maybe a core 2 duo E7200 would be good. it's cheap, and still fairly capable. secondly, consider maybe a 9600GT video card if you can find one for less money. lastly, a 700W power supply is really not necessary for this build. 500W should be plenty.
If you're looking to shave off some of the cost, the first place I'd look is the case. You can easily find an Antec case and Antec PSU combo (Antec is one of the only case/psu combo's I'd ever trust) for much less than your case and PSU. That's not saying that either of them are poor choices, but if you're looking to save some money consider...
Also, unless you're a real audiophile, you'll probably never notice the difference between the onboard sound and the descrete sound card. Save your money, you can always buy it later if you don't like what you hear.
