Help!! System builder facing very frustrating situation...

Sooo I got a thermaltake Armor 800BWS and a PC Power and Cooling 1KW PS and the damned thing WILL NOT fit inside the case... It misses being mounted in the back by a quarter of an inch and the internals of the case ( its empty ) prevent me front mounting it from in there... Anyone out there do this??? If so plz help =P

Send it(PSU) back and get something smaller.......

What are you using that "really needs" 1KW?

Your system only needs 500 watts with a single 4870 and 600 watts with two 4870.
A nice Corsair 750TX $90 after rebate-w/ free shipping will lessen the "sting" of having to pay for the RMA shipping.

You really should have got that Thermaltake 850W PSU (or better yet the Antec TPQ 850) in the first place.

The PC P&C 100 is 230MM deep (9+inches).
Corsair 1000W is 200mm, Antec TPQ850 is 180mm and Corsair 750TX is 160mm

Thanks for the input, I got it in by removing the top USB/Firewire connectors temporarily.

And for the critics... I got the PS for $150 from a friend and I acknowledge I DO NOT need it now however, in the future I have no idea what type of power needs I will have. I'd rather not worry about it for such a cheap price and just upgrade everything around it.
