We have a 19 dBi directional antenna pointed right at the Google Light pole nearest our house. The directional antenna shows a very strong signal connection and 54mbps speed - but there are a few tree limbs in the line of sight path. (i.e. you can clearly see the pole, but the antenna is behind branches and leaves.) download speed is 54mbs upload speed is 36mbps Uplink SNR is 36dB Node Noise is -96dBm Okay, add to that a Hawking high gain repeater (2 removeable antennas) with the directional antenna pointed to connect to google, and the second omni-directional antenna to redistribute in the house. It works. Configured repeater to connect to google wifi SSID, and we connect to the repeater SSID and get internet access through it. However, the interenet access we get is still horribly slow. Not sure if this is still due the antenna? Connectivity seems random. Page loads are slow, or really fast, or time out completely. Really frustrating stuff . . . Is there anything I can do to configure differently or test the wireles connection?
