I'm really sorry to be asking this, I'm sure it's been asked before, I searched and found an old post from 2006, (Didn't help me much >.< )... Please don't flame.. >.<

I have an Asus M2N-SLI Delux Motherboard running the 570 sli chipset. I also have an aging 7600gt on it, and I've been in the market for a graphics card.. Best buy has a sale on the new VisionTek HD4850 card. Is it possible to run the ATI card on my SLI MB?

Any insight on this question would be greatly appreciated :)

its funny, cause i own the same MOBO, and also had a 7600GT, and have now upgraded to the VisionTek 4850, which i am pretty sure is the one in the Best Buy ad. (Saw it there this week.)

Sure, you can run it, so long as you have a decent enough power supply. What you can't do is buy two and run the in crossfire.

Thanks for the responses guys, I really appreciate it. I have a 750W PSU, So I'll doubt that will be an issue. I never really wanted to use a crossfire set up, So I guess I'm set. Thanks

I have an NFORCE 570 SLIT-A and it has problems with ATI cards. I get a lot of blank monitors and blue screens with any ATI card I put in it. I switched to an Nvidia card and the problems go away.
