I've tried to build it, but I had some questions about some things, here they are:
The ASRock Penryn 1600 SLi - 110 dB
It's cheap, it's has nice specifications, but i've never heard of it before.. does it make a lot of noise or something? What or why is it so cheap then, is it perhaps better than the Asus P5K?
I'm having difficulties with choosing a processor, this is the one I want to get:
CORE 2 Quad Q6600, CPU: 4x2400 MHz, L2-Cache: 2x4096 Kb, Quadpumped 1066 MHz.
BUT why is the CORE 2 DUO E8500 at the same price while it's specifications are worse? Here they are: CPU: 2x3166 MHz, L2-Cache: 2x3072 Kb, Quadpumped: 1333 MHz.
Why does the DUO Core has the same price as the Quad?
Club 3D 9800 GT, is this card any good? The specifications are looking good enough, but i didn't heard of this card before.. + Does it have a HDMI plugin? I need a 3d card with a HDMI plug in.
If bad, can someone recommend me what to buy or what to choose? I would appreciate that, thanks.
the Q6600 is very old now about 2 years build on the 65nm fab.and the E8500 is newer with 45nm fab which will run cooler and OC higher with higher clock to clock.
about the 9800GT i would get the 4870 these days. but of course by no mean 9800GT is a bad card.
The Q6600 is old? The E8500, is that duo core? (the PC i wanna build is gonna be low budget you know)
Plus I heard that you should get a Duo Core for gaming, because you can overclock it better. But the quad cores are better for the upcoming games, like crysis, stalker and so on, so i think I should stick with the Quads ATM. Is there any better/newer processor (Quad) for like the same price? (The Q6600 is 160 Euro here in Europe you know..)
